I tried out this place for lunch today and was very pleasantly surprised. They're newly opened in the Pagoda Village off N. Oak.A Vietnamese family has purchased the shopping center and are in the process of renovating and adding some interesting restaurants like this one.This place is clean and small with about 6 4 tops and 3 large tables that can seat 8. The menu is small but offers a nice selection of noodle soup. Since it was my first time I went with the house special #3. It was served with lettuce, bean sprouts and chives separately. On the table there were jalapenos, chili sauce and pickled garlic. The noodle soup was delicious. Full of rich flavor and plenty of pork and one whole fried shrimp and one deshelled. I opted to leave out the liver since I was pretty hung over but might try it with next time. Service was prompt and nice. A great new place up north.

The food was amazing. Prices are good as well. The only downside is they are short staffed which makes the wait time a little long. It didn't bother us. We could tell the food was being made fresh!

Awful place we have to wait forever for everything. Sitting..drink... taking order and food came out wrong and it's not taste good as they say 4 🌟 I will be never go back and I will tell all my friends to not to go there

Crazy good. Broth is flavorful and not sweet like a lot of Vietnamese soup restaurants. Service is great. At the end of the meal they gave us a complimentary dessert. Been here 3 times already and will keep going back.Update: It has been a long time since I have came here. Has gone very down hill. Chicken curry has turned into random pieces of meat with an overly sweet broth. Random frozen veggies thrown in as well. I know it’s frozen as I heard the microwave go off three times as our food was being made. Pho is now also sweet. Not sure if they changed to canned broth or what. Horrible flavor.

My husband and I came here after hearing about all of the different restaurants in Little Saigon. Mi Gia was exceptional food wise. We had the spring rolls with shrimp pork and peanut sauce as an appetizer, he had a Bun Mi sandwich which was excellent, lite but not lacking in flavor and I had pad Thai. I like that they let you spice the pad Thai yourself instead of serving it in temps and the bean sprouts were fresh! Not canned. 😁 for dessert we had the banana sticky rice. It was good. Not our favorite sticky rice (we are big fans of mango) but this was still nice and toasty. The only reason that i almost didn't give 5 stars was the waitress was a bit slow to refill my water. SHE ALSO NOTICED this and corrected it, which thrilled and delighted me. Overall it was clean, friendly and delicious.

Surprised and delighted by this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are passionate about the food and willing to answer questions to make sure you get what you like. Make sure ya get the Vietnamese egg rolls! The Pho is one of the better of many places I’ve tried in Kc. Stop by and support local business.

The food was hot, fresh and quickly served.The flavor was delicious and the prices are great! Awesome environment and friendly service. The crepes were so light and fluffy with just the right amount of filling. The staff is so friendly and polite.

I’m not considering myself experienced with Vietnamese food, but I ordered the chicken pho, and it was tasty. My friend said it wasn’t as good as she’d had (here) in the past, and that I’d be better off trying it again.

Not my favorite pho but still very good. Broth was lacking flavor but other than that it was good.

This place is delicious. I got the rice bowl which offers a little bit of everything. It's not often you can get quail eggs in your soup. So yummy. I kept my soup mild but added two jalapeno slices as I enjoyed and it gave it the perfect kick. Great place for lunch. They are very quick. I maybe waited 5min.

Absolutely love it! This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant in Gladstone, delicious and a reasonable price. I love their soups, egg rolls and spring rolls, everything is flavorful and fresh. Highly recommend!

Very slow, we were the only people in the restaurant and lunch took an hour to come out. Food was mediocre at best. The pho had no beef flavor. The spring rolls were very bland.

Lovely small restaurant. I have been twice gotten pho both times. They have a kids menu. They offer a variety of drinks. The coffee with egg was soooooo yummy!

One of the great restaurants in KC metro. I'm a regular customer at this restaurant before the lock down and so grateful that the owner is still opening for carry out orders. My favorite items on the menu is Mi La Cay and rice cake (bot chien). I used to travel to Houston for rice cake at Tan Tan restaurant but don't have to go far now.

Ordered to go, I got the pad tai, which had no sauce or veggies to it and only 3 slices of chicken. My husband got the pho, which was heavily flavored with anise with hardly any beef, and what there was of it was very small and thin. The only thing that was any good were the egg rolls, but they are maybe half the size of a normal egg roll. All in all we were very disappointed and won't be back.

Got pad Thai to go. 2 people in restaurant and I waited for over 45 minutes. Was ok food, won't be coming back.

I think this place serves excellent bowls of noodles and has different varieties and styles of noodles. They are also usually great Specials on the weekend! If you enjoy eating noodles then this place is definetly the right location to go to.

We normally dine in and usually food is decent. But we ordered a carry out and the food was horrible. We ordered this shrimp bun dish and they only put four shrimps in the dish, the noodles and veggies tasted like dirty water. There was no seasoning of any kind. You’re better off at one of the other 3 Vietnam restaurants in the square.

Stopped In looking for Phô. What I found was nearly authentic Vietnamese cusine, in a contemporary setting. This charming, family run, strip mall restaurant exceeded my hopes. Unless you're fluent in Vietnamese you won't be able to pronounce the dish names. I had a pork and shimp spring roll that DIDN'T fall apart, and amazing rice noodles dish with pork heart and liver. I will say, not all dishes are as extremely out of most people's comfort zones, but I can be daring with my food experiences. The owner's daughter said many many people love her mother’s Phô, and reccommends it to anyone unsure of what to order. There is no doubt even if you don't find the food to be some of the best Vietnamese American food you have ever eaten, you will be charmed by this talented, warm and pleasant family and their quaint restaurant serving heartfelt eats. Stop by and bring your friends, don't let this jewel slip away from the Northland.

The best Vietnamese pancakes we come on a regular basis

Bit of a language barrier made it difficult to get what we wanted. Had noodles and beef, the beef came in a chunk with bones, not necessarily a problem but didn't appear to be a very good cut. Waiter served one drink each and no refills. I've never been to a Vietnamese restaurant before, perhaps the food was gourmet by that standard but I doubt I'll be back.

Honestly, I've been to this place a few time. It's a great place. But seriously, If an item is popular with your customers....make more of it before hand. Plus very slow service while there isn't many customers.

If you're on the fence, just come here! The only suck part is their location (they're tucked away from the main road so probably miss out on a lot of traffic)...I really hope they get more publicity! They're delivering a great authentic product.The food is amazing!! The people are genuine. Don't come here expecting your bubbly 54th Street servers...think traditional Asian family home...made me miss my Filipino grandma!

Good food

Took my parents there for some banh xeo and bun bo hue. Both were delicious. My only issue with the banh xeo is that it was served with tail-on shrimp so I had to dig those out as I worked my way through. Still, it was worth the extra effort! Bun bo hue was huge... broth was rich and hearty. A delicious change from my normal go-to... rare beef pho. Had the sweet potato & shrimp as an appetizer. While I'm used to having those served wirh greens and with a few more shrimp, they were still a hit. Menu was diverse, lots of things I want to try next time including the egg coffee! Service was fast, courteous and attentive. Will definitely be back. What a gem!

Freshest springrolls anywhere. Food is always great.
